Pastor Willie Lee Thomas III is a bivocational pastor. He has a passion to see God's people prosper and walk in God’s purpose. He accepted the call as pastor of Philippi Evangelistic Church of God In Christ in August 2007. Pastor Thomas is often referred to as "a man before his time” because of his knowledge and wisdom which is beyond his years. He is a great steward of God's word,dedicated, and passionate to the work of God's people. His desire is to learn more so he can be well suited to serve the people of God. He went to St. Paul Theological Seminary and received a bachelor’s degree. He attended Christian Bible College, where he also received his master’s degree. He attended Kenner Theological Seminary where he accomplished receiving his Doctoral degree in Theology. He currently attends New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Thomas currently serves as Louisiana Eastern 2nd Jurisdiction Urban Initiative President. He serves over 40 churches. He helps those churches develop ministries geared toward community involvement by addressing five areas: Education, Family, Finances, Literacy, Crime Prevention, and Economical Development. Other important information includes, he has served our nation in the United States Marine Corps. He currently works for the New Orleans Fire Department, and is a Nationally Registered Paramedic. During his spare time, he enjoys studying and hanging out with his family. Pastor Thomas has been happily married for over 25 years to his high-school sweetheart First Lady Valcindrantte Thomas. He is also the father of six beautiful children. He aims to inspire people to seek the king of kings and to one day leave behind a legacy, so that when his life is over, God will smile down on him and speak, “Well done thou good and faithful servant.
